Jonathan Hurst APFS – Chartered Financial Planner & Director
Jon (Jonathan) is our lead client advisor, having joined Charles Dean Ltd in 2014 after working for AXA, Mattioli Woods and Talbot & Muir.
Jon possesses a very strong range of experience within Financial Services, with a veritable wealth of experience in the pension arena. Jon has helped clients buy a whole range of pension assets including discretionary portfolios, commercial units, land and golf courses, as well as assisting multiple business owners with using their pension schemes to purchase commercial premises.
Jon is now a Chartered Financial Planner having passed the qualification back in 2019 and became a director of the business shortly afterwards.
In his private life, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, and is an ardent supporter of Nottingham Forest Football Club
Katie Lee – Office Manager
Kate joined the team in 2017 and quickly established herself as an indispensable part of Charles Dean. In 2019 Kate was promoted and currently stands by as Office Manager to make sure our service to you remains top-notch and always on time.
Kate holds an LF1 Life and Pension Foundations certificate through The Chartered Insurance Institute.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband Matt, her daughter, Emily-Rose, Bella the German Shepherd and not forgetting Marmalade the cat! Kate has recently purchased her forever home and is currently renovating it through-out!
Megan Hurst – Office Administrator
Megan (Meg) joined the team in 2019 and works closely with Jon and Kate as the Trainee Paraplanner.
Meg is currently working towards a certificate in Financial Services through the CII and hopes to be using her new skills to become a Paraplanner.
In her spare time, Meg enjoys spending time with her family and having wine and cheese nights with her friends.
Melissa Hurst has recently joined the team having had experience of working within both smaller and very large businesses in a range of sectors but more recently focused in the financial services sector.
Melissa brings a wealth of administration and customer service experience and uses this to aid the team with the day to day running of the business.
Melissa’s main role within the firm however is in the finance side and is responsible for bookkeeping within the business as well as dealing with invoices.
In Melissa’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Jon and going on sunny holidays, she also enjoys going back to her hometown London and eating her favourite Eastend’s Pie and Mash.
